Introducing the DSR-4530
Disaster Recovery
The DSR-4530 performs automatic disaster recovery of lost L-band signal without
operator intervention based on settings and definitions provided by the uplink equipment.
The DSR 4530 does the following in disaster recover mode:
Mutes all outputs.
Maintains the current Low Noise Block (LNB) converter offset.
Attempts to reacquire the lost L-band signal until the transponder-search entry delay
time period has elapsed (default value is 30 seconds).
Note: Transponder search entry delay time is set up by the uplink equipment.
Automatically terminates disaster recovery when the lost signal is acquired.
