CHAPTER 10. BUILT-IN-TEST EQUIPMENT
The BITE command enables the user to perform radio built in tests. To start the tests, perform one of
the following steps:
From the Service menu, choose BITE (ALT, S, B)
On the toolbar, click the BITE button.
The BITE dialog is then opened, providing the capability to select the test type and to see the test
results.

Click to select one out of three test options.
Different radio assemblies are tested for each test type.
Scroll to see BITE test results.
A symbol appears near each test with the following
meaning:
ü - PASS
û - FAIL
? - NOT PERFORMED
The test was not performed due to a failure of a related
item, or the tested item did not withstand the test
conditions.
The test summary line displays the number of
passed tests, the number of failed tests and the
number of unperformed tests for a particular item.
Click these buttons to start
BITE or close the window.
Click here to print the results or to save them in a
file.
