Write Device Program the radio parameters. If you’re working in technician
mode (see Preferences Setting), the RSS displays the Write Device
dialog box, where you can select the parameters to load into the
radio. When there are configuration errors, the Write Device button
is grayed and the Configuration Check button is highlighted, and
vice versa when the configuration is free of errors.
Channel
Configuration
Select the channel parameters. The RSS displays the Channel
Configuration dialog box, where you can select the parameters for
each radio channel.
Group
Configuration
Select the group parameters. The RSS displays the Group
Configuration dialog box, where you can select the scanned
channels for each group.
Option
Configuration
Select radio options, such as priority channel, scan rate and so on.
The RSS displays the Radio Options dialog box, where you can
select the desired options.
Accessory
Configuration
Set the external accessories and connect to the radio. The RSS
displays the Accessories dialog box, where you can select the
accessories.
BITE Perform radio built in test. The RSS displays the Built-In Test
Equipment dialog box, where you can select the type of test you
want to perform.
Communication
Ports
Select the baud rate and the serial communication port. The RSS
displays the Communication Ports dialog box, where you can make
the selection.
Configuration
Check
Display the errors in the configuration. When there are no
configuration errors, this button is grayed.
Help Display a summarized on-line help.
