Status Reporting
This appendix provides information on status reporting messages for the Element Management
System and shelf display. The event and display messages on the GX2-LM1000E* are listed in
Table C-1.

None Green The total power of the RF drive level at the laser
diode returns within specification.
RF Overload Major

RF Overload Alarm Red The total power of the RF drive level at the laser
diode is +16.0 dBm or greater. Module operation is
stopped.
RF Overload No Alarm None Green RF drive level at the laser diode returns below
overload condition.
OMI Offset Major Alarm OMI Offset Alarm Red RF drive level at the laser diode is 2 dB less or
2 dB more than the OMI Offset Control setpoint.
This is only active in Preset or Set mode.
OMI Offset Minor Alarm OMI Offset Alarm Yellow RF drive level at the laser diode is 0.5 dB less or
0.5 dB more than from the OMI Offset Control
setpoint. This is only active in Preset or Set mode.
OMI Offset No Alarm None Green RF drive level at the laser diode returns within
specification from the OMI Offset Control setpoint.
