CRC-major alarm

Red The GX2-LM1000E* defaults to a laser protection

mode— a laser bias of 50 mA, an attenuator setting

of 7.5 dB, and Manual Mode only operation. The

GX2-LM1000E* continues to operate with these

settings. Contact the TRC.

Alarm Limit NVM

CRC-major alarm

Red Alarm checking is automatically shut off. The GX2-

LM1000E* continues to operate. Contact the TRC.

Boot status-major

alarm

Red The preferred firmware boot bank is corrupt. The

alternate firmware boot bank will be utilized. The

GX2-LM1000E* continues to operate using alternate

firmware. Contact the TRC.

Flash status-major

alarm

Red The Flash programming procedure has failed. The

GX2-LM1000E* continues to operate with the

currently loaded version of firmware. Contact the

TRC.

Hardware-major

alarm

Red The laser bias control loop window has been

exceeded. To protect the laser, the laser bias is

automatically set to 50 mA. The GX2-LM1000E*

continues to operate with this setting. Cycle the

optical output power using the SDU, network

management system, or local access port to clear

the alarm. If the problem persists, contact the TRC.
