o Channels: Spacing – Data entry field for Spacing Frequency in the selected Base
Configuration. If a Bank is configured as a Type E2 UHF or E2 Hi (Motorola Type II
UHF or Hi) then a Spacing Frequency value must be entered. This box will only appear
if the corresponding Bank Type is selected above. Default values will appear the first
time the Bank Type is selected. Consult your Operations Guide for appropriate values.
o Channels: Offset – Data entry field for Offset Channel in the selected Base
Configuration. If a Bank is configured as a Type E2 UHF or E2 Hi (Motorola Type II
UHF or Hi) then an Offset Channel value must be entered. This box will only appear if
the corresponding Bank Type is selected above. Default values will appear the first time
the Bank Type is selected. Consult your Operations Guide for appropriate values.
o Channels: Priority Ch – Drop down box used to select the Priority Channel for the
selected bank. Each Bank can have one Priority Channel. Selecting the Channel
number in the drop down box sets the P indicator for the Bank whether the selected
Channel is in the visible group or not. The default Priority Channel is set to the first
channel in each Bank when a New File is created.
o Channels: Trnk L/O Flip – (BC895XLT & PRO2052 Only) - These radios can't scan
both trunked and conventional channels in the same bank at the same time. In order to
quickly and conveniently lockout all the trunked channels in a bank so conventional
scanning can be done this button "flips' the lockout bits on all the trunked channels in a
bank in one operation. If the lockout bit is off it is flipped on. If it is on it is flipped off.
o Channels: Auto Tr – Check box to enable automatic trunk flag setting when
programming Trunked System frequencies into a bank. When this box is checked the
trunk flag is set to on and the delay flag is set to off whenever a frequency is entered into
a channel memory location. This saves the user the time and effort of having to manually
set these flags when programming a Trunked System into a bank. Correspondingly, if the
user is programming a mixed bank, a bank with both a Trunked System and Conventional
frequencies, he/she can uncheck this box to prevent these flag settings from happening
when entering the Conventional frequencies. This checkbox defaults to checked when a
Trunk Type other than NONE is set above.
