Edit Scanlists Screen
The Edit Scanlists Screen is only available for Banks configured for Trunked radio systems. It gives the
user the ability to configure a ScanList and enter and edit all Talkgroup ID related data into the
ScanControl Memory Area and program it into the scanner’s radio memory. It also allows the user to
upload ScanList data from the scanner’s radio memory to the ScanControl Memory Area.

ScanList Field – Enter the name tag for the currently selected ScanList. This value is stored in
ScanControl Memory and programmed into the BC780XLT, BC250D, BC296D, BC785D and
BC796D. The BCT8, BC95XLT, BC245XLT, BC895XLT, BC898T and PRO2052 do not store
these tags.
Talkgroup (ScanList) Tabs – A Trunked Bank can have up to 10 ScanLists associated with it,

group of 10 associated with the Bank being edited. ScanLists are numbered 1(A) through 0(J)
corresponding to ScanLists 1 through 10 in the scanner’s radio memory. 0(J) is used to represent
ScanList 10 because this is the way it is displayed and used on the radio LCD display and the
radio keypad. Each ScanList consists of up to 10 Talkgroup IDs.
Talkgroups Section – Talkgroup data entry fields for the selected ScanList.
o Talkgroups: Loc – Displays the Talkgroup Location designator. These numbers cannot
