o Channels: Mode / Step / Dly - Data display field for Radio Mode (AM, FM, NFM,
WFM) setting, Step (KHz) setting and Delay (Seconds) setting for conventional channels.
The appropriate boxes are grayed out when the radio in use doesn’t support the setting or
the channel is designated as a trunked channel. Clicking on any of these boxes brings up
the Mode / Step / Delay selection screen for the chosen channel.

o Channels: Base Config # – Drop down list of available Base Configurations for the
radio in use. This is normally values between 1 and 3. By selecting configuration #1, #2
or #3 you are selecting that configuration for setting the appropriate Base, Spacing and
Offset parameters. All valid base configurations are then programmed into the bank
when you perform the Program Channels step.
o Channels: Base –Data entry field for Base Frequency in the selected Base Configuration.
If a Bank is configured as a Type E2 UHF or E2 Hi (Motorola Type II UHF or Hi) then a
Base Frequency must be entered. This box will only appear if the corresponding Bank
Type is selected above. Default values will appear the first time the Bank Type is
selected. Consult your BC245XLT, BC895XLT, BC898T, BCT8 and PRO2052 or
BC780XLT, BC250D, BC296D, BC785D and BC796D Operations Guide for appropriate
values.
