13. In the Privacy drop-down list, select the privacy level. Options: Default, Private or Public.
14. In the Reminders drop-down list, select the amount of time before the event that Calendar notifies the
user of the upcoming event.
15. Touch Done. The event is added to the calendar.
Editing an Event
To edit an event:
1. In any Calendar view, touch and hold an event and then touch Edit event.
2. Touch > Show extra options to add or edit event details.
3. Make changes to the event.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and touch Done.
Deleting an Event
To delete an event:
1. In any Calendar view, touch and hold an event and then touch Delete event.
2. Touch OK.
Changing Calendar Settings
To change Calendar settings:
1. Touch > Calendar.
2. Open a Calendar view.
3. Touch > More > Settings.
Calendar view settings
Hide declined events - Check to hide events that were declined.
Use home time zone - Check to display calendars and event times in home time zone when
traveling.
Home time zone - Opens a dialog box to set the time zone that Calendar uses when traveling.
Reminder settings
Set alerts & notifications - Opens a dialog box to configure event reminders to open an alert, send a
notification or turn off event notifications.
Select ringtone - Opens a dialog box to select the ringtone to sound when an event reminder is
received.
Vibrate - Opens a dialog box to configure the ET1 to vibrate when an event reminder is received.
Options: Always, Only when silent or Never.
Default reminder time - Opens a dialog box to select the default time before an event for event
reminders.
