About the AC Adapter.
The AC adapter is designed to ensure your personal safety
and to be compatible with this equipment. Please follow
these guidelines:
Do not use the AC adapter in a high moisture environment.
Never touch the AC adapter when your hands or feet are
wet.
Allow adequate ventilation around the AC adapter. Avoid
locations with restricted airflow.
Connect the AC adapter to a proper source. The voltage and
grounding requirements are found on the product case and/
or packaging.
Do not use the AC adapter if the cord becomes damaged.
Do not attempt to service the unit. There are no serviceable
parts inside. Replace the unit if it is damaged or exposed to
excess moisture.
Electrostatic Discharge Warning
Electrostatic discharges can interfere with the normal
functioning of electronic devices. Your MTC100 TETRA PDA
can behave abnormally owing to such an event, resulting in
the possible data corruption or loss of unsaved data. To
recover from this, reset your MTC100 TETRA PDA as
described in this user Guide.
Only use the AC adapter supplied with your
MTC100 TETRA PDA. Use of another type
of AC adapter will result in malfunction and/
or danger.
This product is intended to be supplied with a
Listed Power Unit marked "LPS" and output rated
+5 VDC/900 mA minimum.
