Basics
Receiving Calls
Your phone must be ON to receive calls.
When a call is incoming:
an alert will sound and/or vibrate.
the Service Light (pg. 33) will flash red and green.
You can choose your phone’s alert, selecting from nine ringer
styles or silent vibration mode. See page 87.
Answering a Call
To answer a call:
Caller ID
If Caller ID is active on your phone, you will be able to see who is
calling before you answer.

The display will show either your
caller’s name (if in the Internal Phone Book) or your caller’s
number. If you prefer to always see your caller’s number, see
page 75 to turn Number Preference ON.
The Caller IDs for your last 16 callers will be saved. See page 62
to learn how to view your stored Caller IDs.

Extend the antenna completely for best
performance.
