Learning to Use Your Phone

to delete 1 character at a time. Press and hold

to delete multiple characters, whole words, or the
entire message.
Entering Words
In a text entry screen, you can press
#
to switch entry
methods. An indicator tells you which method is active
(see page 20). If
iTAP
method is not available as the
Primary
or
Secondary
entry method, see page 19.
If you enter a word your phone does not recognize, the
phone stores it to use as 1 of your word options. When you
fill memory space for unrecognized words, your phone
deletes the oldest words to add new words.
