2. Plug the modular connector on the cable into the
receptacle in the bottom of the LS 6000 handle. Listen
for a click.

3. Gently tug the cable to ensure the connector is properly
secured.
Switching Cables
Different cables are required for different hosts. To change the
scanner cable:
1. Unplug the installed cable’s modular connector by
depressing the connector clip with a screwdriver or
paper clip (through the access hole).
2. Carefully slide out the cable.
3. Follow the steps for Installing the Scanner Cable above
to connect a new cable.
