Notes:

• If you do not press a key for more than 3 seconds

while viewing a message, the time/date display

(or the overflow character display) appears.

• If you lock a message, its marker appears as ,

and appears while you read it. See “Locking

and Unlocking Messages” on Page 28.

• If you selected the vibrate pattern, chirp pattern,

or one of the seven tone patterns, the pager

briefly alerts every 2 minutes, for up to 30 min-

utes or until you read all new messages.

• Your pager is preset to display overflow charac-

ters when you press again; however, you can

set the pager to automatically scroll the entire

message across the display at one of three

speeds. See “Changing the Message Scroll Set-

ting” on Page 42.
