Application Server Health Monitoring
[Ref. #32469 / 31806] iControl version 4.11 improves upon the health monitoring capability of
iControl with the addition of several Application Server, hardware-related alarms informed
by hardware sensors. The alarms provide sensor information in the categories of
temperature, current, voltage, fans, and chassis.
The following alarms are new to the
HealthMonitoring|ApplicationServer alarm
folder in the GSM Alarm Browser for a Dell PowerEdge R310 Application Server:
IMPORTANT: Sensor-derived alarms vary with different model servers
The sensor-derived individual alarms do vary from one model of Application
Server to another. The figures shown below are taken from the GSM Alarm
Browser of a Dell PowerEdge R310 Application Server.
IMPORTANT: Sensor-derived HealthMonitoring|ApplicationServer alarms are only
supported on the Dell PowerEdge R200, R210, and R310 Application Servers.
IMPORTANT: The Dell PowerEdge R200 Application Server does not support any Health
Monitoring|ApplicationServer
alarms in the Current - Power category.
