Receiving a Data or Fax Call

You can connect your phone to a computer or hand-held device to receive data

or a fax.

Use this feature to transfer data to your computer from another device.

Transfer the Data or Fax

Connect your phone (see “Connecting Your Phone to an External Device”).

Your phone notifies you when the data or fax call arrives, and transfers the call to

the connected device. You must use the application running on the connected

device to answer the call.

End the Data/Fax Connection

When the data or fax transfer is complete:

Sending a Talk then Fax Call

You can place a call where you talk and then send a fax to the

same phone number within the same call.

Connect to the device that will send the fax (see “Connecting Your Phone to an

External Device”) and do the following:

Press keypad keys to enter the phone number for the call.

Press

to open the

Dialling Menu

Press

to scroll to

Talk Then Fax

Press

SELECT

( ) to select

Talk Then Fax

(for the next call only).

Press

to dial the call.

Speak and, when ready, initiate the fax transfer on the connected device.

When transfer is complete, end the call from the connected device.
