Your phone features built-in Bluetooth technology, allowing you
to share information more easily than ever before. Bluetooth is
a short-range communications technology that allows
you to connect wirelessly to a number of Bluetooth
devices, such as headsets and hands-free car kits, and
Bluetooth-enabled handhelds, computers, printers, and
wireless phones. The Bluetooth communication range
is usually up to approximately 10 meters (30 feet).
Turning Bluetooth On and Off
By default, your device’s Bluetooth feature is turned off.
Turning Bluetooth on makes your phone “discoverable”
by other in-range Bluetooth devices.
To turn Bluetooth on or off:
1. Press

Settings/Tools > Tools > Bluetooth.
2. Press Options (right softkey).
3. Highlight Settings and press
S
.
4. Highlight the Bluetooth Power field and press
S
.
5. Use your navigation key to select On or Off, as
desired and then press
S
.
6. Press Done (left softkey) to save your settings.
Note
To extend battery life, set Bluetooth power to Off
when not in use.
