8.13 To set PBX access code
If the CD1 is connected to a switchboard, you may need to
enter a one-digit access code in the dialling sequence to be
able to connect to the outside line.
The access code will be displayed at the beginning of a
number on the screen. The code can be up to 4 digits long.
The access code will not be used when you dial the number
manually (such as when you are not dialling from the
phonebook). This allows you to make calls to other
switchboard extensions.

Ring tone 1 and ring tone 3 when set at ring volume 5 will
provide an extra loud ringer on the base.
